Lakeside Downtown Kincardine BIA are teaming up with NPX Innovations to say thanks and recognize healthcare workers in our community.
NPX have donated $2,500 and the BIA $500 that will be used to give BIA Bucks to the workers.
BIA Manager Rick Clarke says it is a small gesture that will show the community their appreciation for these workers.
Clarke says they are hoping to raise $3,500 so that they can give approximately 140 workers $25 each in BIA Bucks that they can spend at local merchants.
He says they are accepting cash donations to the program until February 18th.
Both the BIA and NPX will make a presentation at the Kincardine hospital on February 22nd.
