The Clothes Hamper in Kincardine has been one a few businesses that have been successful since the pandemic began.
This past week, the local thrift store announced that they have made a donation of $7,000 to the Kincardine hospital (Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation).
Volunteer Carol Picot says they donated $10,000 to the hospital back in October, and another $8,000 last April.
She says they have donated more than a quarter of a million dollars to charities since the store first opened.
Picot says the last few years, they have focused on donating the proceeds exclusively to the hospital.
Picot says most of the items they have on sale is under $10 so raising that much money in a short period of time is incredible.
