South Bruce OPP charge Three Impaired Drivers over Two Days

Two of the Drivers struck snowbanks while driving under the influence, while the third was caught driving also with no insurance.

The South Bruce OPP shed light of the growing issue of impaired driving in the area with the release of the details of three drivers charged with driving impaired between February 13th  at 11:40am and February 14th at 10:45pm.

The first was just before noon on Sunday when police receiving a report of a driver who had struck a snowbank. Officers located the vehicle and driver and found that the 37 year old male of Kincardine had been drinking.

Then just 7 hours later officers received another report of an impaired driver in Elderslie township on Concession 2. Officers located the vehicle and found that the driver, a 38 year old of Arran Township, had been drinking.

And finally yesterday at 10:45pm police received a report of a vehicle that was stuck in a snowbank. When officers arrived they found a 41 year old female of Kincardine had been drinking alcohol and were charged. The driver was also driving on a suspended license.
