A few people took advantage of a virtual public meeting to offer input on what kind of shops and services they would like to see at the Goderich waterfront.

The public meeting on the waterfront retail project was part of the February 7th Town Council meeting.

Mayor John Grace says some of the suggestions made were mostly about convenience.

Grace says he doesn’t want the waterfront to be a carbon copy of Grand Bend or Sauble Beach but rather as a unique summer destination.

He says Town staff will take all the information and come back to Council with some ideas.
