OPP charge two people in seperate incidents in South Bruce Peninsula

Grey Bruce OPP had to deal with a pair of disturbances in South Bruce Peninsula.

The first occurred last Monday morning around 1 on Bruce Street in Hepworth.

Investigators received reports of an intoxicated man causing a disturbance.

They were able to locate someone who matched the description of the individual, and later determined that the suspect assaulted two people.

An 18-year-old man from Arran-Elderslie was arrested, charged, and later released with a future court date.

Then on Tuesday night around 8:15, officers went to an area on Mary Street in Wiarton about someone making threats and causing mischeif.

A 29-year-old man from Owen Sound was arrested and charged.

The accused is being held until his next court appearance.
