A group of Huron County residents are gathering clothes and supplies to help those who are fleeing Ukraine from the Russian attacks.
The group have set up a Facebook page called Huron County Hub for Ukraine.
Vanessa Kelly helped set up the page and says she and another resident, Iullia Dovzhenko who moved from Ukraine in 2017, got together to collect the items.
Kelly says they will be taking them down to the London Ukranian Centre to be shipped.
Kelly says the response has been so overwhelming that they moved the collection centre from the YMCA in Goderich to the Memorial Arena.
She says they have surpassed the number of clothes needed but still require smaller items such as non-perishable food, baby formula and wipes, and toiletries.
