Huron County OPP Crime Unit and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office are at the scene of a fatal house fire in Fordwich.
Crews from Howick and Minto Fire Departments along with Huron County paramedics were called to a home on Fordwich Line Monday nightaround 8:20.
Investigators say one person was inside the home at the time of the fire and was unable to escape.
They say the remains are in a section of the home that was heavily damaged by the flames.
There is no word on the cause or damage estimate.
Investigators say more details will be released as they become available.
