There is an online workshop for those looking to help bring in a Ukrainian family to Canada.
A Safe Space: Preparing to Support Refugees from Ukraine and Afghanistan is hosted by Welcoming Communities Grey Bruce.
It taking place this Wednesday night on Zoom from 7 until 9.
Organizer David Morris says the goal of his relatively new group is to the make the Grey Bruce region more receptive to newcomers no matter where they are coming from.
He says the meeting will be mostly an informational one.
Morris says anyone looking to bring in a family from the Ukraine on a temporary permit will need to know that they will have limited access to government services.
