Ontario Stengthens Rural Economic Growth with South Bruce Investment

The Provincial Governemnt say they are building strong rural communities with investments that help support modern & efficient public infrastructure and boost economic development.

MPP for Huron-Bruce Lisa Thompson announced that the Municipality of South Bruce will be receiving $250,000 in funding through the Rural Economic Development Program.

The funding will help South Bruce redevelop a vacant building in the downtown core to provide healthcare services to residents.

Thompson says the investment will support the residents of Teeswater in receiving healthcare they need from a new medical centre, closer to home.

The funding is part of 61 projects that the Provincial Government is supporting to help diversity local economies, retain skilled workers and create jobs in rural communities.
