It seems residents in Huron County are interested in having a family from Ukraine live with them.

Tuesday night was the first of three information sessions hosted by the Huron County Library and the Huron County Immigration Partnership.

The County’s Programming and Community Engagement Coordinator Jim Seale says all three sessions will involve brainstorming and exchange of ideas.

There is one happening at the Seaforth Library Wednesday from 7 until 8:30 and Thursday afternoon from 2 until 3:30 in Wingham tentatively at the Alice Munro Library.

Seale says they have so many people registered for the Wingham event that they may have to move to a larger venue.

There is also a virtual session happening next Wednesday night from 7 until 8:30.

If you are interested in attending these sessions, go to Eventbrite to register.
