Bruce Power says residents in Bruce, Grey, and Huron continue to show their support for the company.
Bruce Power issued a statement on a recent poll done by Ipsos Reid.
The results of the poll revealed that 94 percent of respondents say they have confidence in Bruce Power with 92 percent saying the company is a good corporate citizen and 92 percent agree that Bruce Power is making a positive contribution to the community.
The poll also found that the key issues they heard from residents were COVID-19 and health care.
Ipsos says nearly six out of ten are paying attention to the DGR site selection process with almost three-quarters in favour of the consultation process being conducted by the Nuclear Waste Management Organization.
