The Goderich BIA saw strong support for their recent start of the Summer Tourist Season in the town with the holding of the “Launch – A Feast for the Senses” in the Square.
BIA Manager David Mackechnie says the event reminded everyone about the benefits of the area.
“I recently heard someone say that if you think of your town as your home then your downtown is really your living room. When you have people over to entertain them you take them to your living room and you sit and have coffee or tea which you can do downtown.”
The town recently saw the reopening of the Park Theatre in the Downtown and partnered with area restaurants to have patrons be able to earn free movie tickets by spending tiered amounts out for dinner with $20 for 1, $40 getting you 2 movie tickets and a family of 4 getting tickets for spending $80.
