Bruce Power announced today that in keeping with its commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace and in the community, they are pleased to sponsor Grey Bruce Pride’s Owen Sound Pride Parade on June 18th and the Kincardine Pride Parade on June 25th.
Bruce Power, in their statement, says they share the same vision as these local organizations, which have a mission to promote an inclusive community by hosting the annual family-friendly Pride Parade and celebrations, as well as other events throughout the year.
As part of its commitment to progress on its diversity, equity, and inclusion journey, Bruce Power partnered with Diversio, a Canadian-owned business, to perform an in-depth internal audit consisting of interviews with organizational leaders and program owners to evaluate their programs, policies, and procedures to identify further areas of opportunity and support the grown of inclusion.
