Huron OPP is investigating a fatal collision that happened last night southwest of Hensall.
Police, Huron County Paramedics and Bluewater Fire were called to the site just after 7 o’clock on reports of a single-vehicle collision on Rodgerville Road near Ausable Line.
Upon arrival, they located a heavily damaged pickup that had collided with a concrete bridge abutment.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
He has been identified as 27 year old Evan Dickins of Hensall.
Members of the West Region Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement Team attended to assist with the investigation.
The bridge on Rodgerville Road has been closed temporarily due to the damage it sustained.
