A local Body Shop with locations in Goderich and Lucan held a fundraising carwash on June 11th in Lucan and the 18th in Goderich and raised some money for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
In total among the two which are owned by the same owners, they raised 3 thousand dollars.
Carstar began fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis 20 years ago when the company’s partners had a relative receive the diagnosis.
Since then their commitment to the charity has expanded.
Since the partnership began Carstar has raised over 4 million dollars.
Plus an additional $3000 was also raised in support of local charities in both Goderich and Lucan and $1500 for the Huron Residential Hospice in Clinton.
