Community support continues for the Bring Tom to Town CT Scanner campaign as the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation announced two large donations today in support of the project.
A generous donation of $20,000 was made by Duncan & Lesley Hawkthorne on Saturday right before they headed out to lead the parade at the Scottish Festival in Kincardine.
The Foundation also accepted a generous anonymous donation of $100,000 from someone with ties to the area.
To round out the weekend they also received a $150,000 donation from the FDC Foundation.
The last donation brought the overall fundraising total for the $3 million dollar campaign to just under $2.7 million.
