The Brucelea Haven long-term care home in Walkerton recently installed a Reflect Room for residents and families. The idea for the room came forward from the home’s Family Council, with management supporting its creation.
The room is meant for comfort and reflection as family members move forward on their journey toward peace and acceptance during a time of grieving.
Director of Long Term Care & Senior Services Megan Garland says they hope this special space helps residents and families heal and know they are not alone.
