Ripley Huron School Community Council is fundraising to bring in new playground equipment to increase accessibility for all children.
They are making headway on their fundraising goal of $65,000 having just crossed the 25% milestone last week. The committee is hoping to meet the goal by December of this year.
Playground committee lead Kristy Botden says they are looking to install new equipment, as well as put in a new wood fibre chip base to meet accessibility requirements in Ontario.
