Walkerton youths compete in North American Irish Dance Championships

Three Walkerton girls jigged there way to solid finishes at the North American Irish Dance Championships in Montreal last week.

Avery McGregor, Madalynn McGregor and Kate Bester all competed in the Under 15 category. There were so many entrants the dancers had to be split into two groups.

In the U15-B group, Avery McGregor was recalled for a third round, finishing 43^rd out of 124 dancers.

In the U15-A group, Madalynn McGregor was also recalled, finishing 63^rd in the group of 134. bester was not recalled, but finished 78^th in the group in her first Nationals appearance.
