The Handbags for Hospice fundraiser in support of the Huron Shores Hospice has secured a title sponsor, as the event looks to move forward for the first time since 2019.
Duncan and Lesley Hawthorne are partnering with the hospice to present the 2022 event, after it was cancelled the previous two years due to the pandemic.
The semi formal event features a live auction for luxury handbags along with appetizers and drinks.
The fundraiser generated over $180,000 for the hospice in 2019.
This year’s event is scheduled for September 15 at the Kincardine Pavilion.
