A Saugeen Shores police officer was honoured for providing over 20 years of service to the force.
Shawn Paulitzki has been employed with the service since January 4, 1999.
He qualified for the Police Exemplary Service Medal in 2019, but they only recently got around to awarding him the honour.
Saugeen Shores police say Paulitzki has been instrumental over the years of organizing fundraisers and events to give back to the community and that the honour is very well deserved.
