Bruce County offers Update on Paisley Temporary Bridge Construction

Bruce County issued an update in regards to the Teeswater River Bridge replacement project, located on Bruce Road 3.

It began in May and continues to progress.

The existing bridge will be closed from August 10th until September of 2023 during construction.

The temporary bridge connects Goldie Street and Church Street over the Saugeen River.

Semi-trucks, tractor trailers and agricultural equipment is to avoid crossing at the bridge in Paisley during construction.

Projected Timeline

  • Temporary Bridge Construction – May 2022 to August 2022
  • Temporary Bridge in Operation – August 2022 to September 2023
  • Old Bridge Demolition/New Bridge Construction – August 2022 to September 2023
  • New Infrastructure Construction North of New Bridge – Starting in 2023
  • Temporary Bridge Demolition – Starting in September 2023
