The Town of Saugeen Shores has compiled an inventory of four lands that could be declared potential surplus properties to support their attainable housing priorities.

The properties outlined include lands at the corner of Deer Run Court and Shore Road, property between 263 and 275 Sandy Acres Road, lands between 145 and 155 South Rankin Street and the Bluewater Estates.

Jay Pausner, Supervisor of Development Services says the properties put forward could be sold within a reasonable time frame, but no sale of the land is imminent.

If council chooses to sell, the sales from the land could go into a reserve to be put toward developing attainable housing in the region.
