Local bakery and Goderich tourist destination Culbert’s Bakery announced on social media this morning that the business and property had been sold.
In the post owner Darin Culbert confirmed the sale but says it will be business as usual with the new owners.
The bakery was put up for sale back at the end of April after Culbert, who has been involved in the business for 44 years, decided it was time to retire.
He has been involved in the bakery since he was 12 year old.
The business itself goes back in the family since 1942 when it was purchased by his grandfather Mel.
No details have been announced as to when the new owners will take over.
