The Huron Shores Hospice received a massive donation in advance of their Handbags for Hospice gala next week.
Bruce Power donated $25,000 to the local hospice, while their supplier partners contributed $75,000 toward the cause.
Cheryl Cottrill, Co-chair of Huron Shores Hospice says they need to raise over $300,000 each year and their partnership with these organizations goes a long way in meeting that goal.
The Handbags for Hospice gala goes Sept. 15. Tickets are sold out.
