This afternoon is the last chance for Goderich residents to register for an online open house that takes place tomorrow where they will discuss changes to the town’s official plan.
Potential updates to the town’s official plan include allowing for increased housing options, like gentle intensification in residential areas and increased density in newly developed areas.
The town also wants to increase consideration of climate change and recognize the work being done to address the issue, and potentially add a land acknowledgement to their proceedings.
Open house sessions will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 8.
