The Huron-Kinloss Women in Carpentry program is hosting an Employer Information Night on October 12th at the Hub in Ripley.
The evening from 7 until 8:30 is a chance for carpentry employers across Grey, Bruce and Huron County to learn the benefits of hiring an entry-level pre-apprentice from the program.
The target audience is construction, contracting, woodworking, cabinetmaking and more.
Organizers advise workers are available to start November 14th and a 50% wage subsidy is available.
