The South Bruce Grey Health Centre announced Wednesday evening that due to a critical shortage of nurses, it will be enacting a full closure of the Chesley emergency department for 4 full days.
The closure which started at 5pm Wednesday will last until Monday, October 3rd at 7 am.
The extended overnight closures of the Chesley ED will continue past October 3rd.
Ambulance by-pass will be undertaken to divert patients to the nearest open Emergency Department.
