Bruce County Library launches New Resident Packages Available from its Branches

Libraries are frequently the first-place new residents visit to find more about their community and they can also rely on the knowledge of their local library staff to answer questions or provide a warm referral to other organizations.

The Bruce County Public Library announced it has launched new residents’ packages at its branches. In the release they say it is a way to discover your community while rediscovering your library in Bruce County.

You can drop by your local branch and pick up a free package filled with information & fun items relevant to your new community.

October is Canadian Library Month with next week being Ontario Public Library Week.

Bruce County Library Director Brooke McLean says that libraries are frequently the first-place new residents visit to find more about their community adding that in addition to the info in new resident packages, they can also rely on the knowledge of their local library staff to answer questions or provide a warm referral to other organizations.
