Due to unplanned human health resource shortages, the emergency department at the Seaforth Community Hospital will be closing overnight.
The emergency department will be closing today at 4 p.m. and reopening at 7 a.m. on Friday, then returning to its regular hours of operation.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention should call 911.
The closest 24 hour emergency departments from Seaforth include the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital in Goderich, the South Huron Hospital in Exeter and the Stratford General Hospital.
