Bruce County’s economic development team announced that all their Spruce the Bruce funds for 2022 have been allocated.
County council recently approved an extension on the December deadline to use funds. They also authorized a reserve fund for Spruce the Bruce grants after it was revealed at an October meeting that over 90% of approved funding had yet to be paid due to issues completing projects.
Applications for grants are still open for those who want to be added to the waitlist.
