A Saugeen First Nation woman has been charged with assault, among other offenses, after a disturbance on Friday.

Grey Bruce OPP responded to a call on Eagle Street in Saugeen First Nation on Nov. 4, where officers determined that several criminal offences had taken place. As a result, a 28-year-old resident was charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats and two counts of mischief under $5,000.

The accused was held pending a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
