Two Arran-Elderslie residents face a slew of charges for possession of stolen property, firearms and drug trafficking after a bust by the South Bruce OPP earlier this week.

On Nov. 15 members of the Community Street Crimes Unit, Emergency Response Team, Tactics and Rescue Unit, and canine unit executed a search warrant at a property along Concession 4 in Arran Township.

As a result of the search, police seized a large quantity of Meth, with an estimated street value of $11,140.

Police also recovered several stolen items estimated to be more than $89,700 in value. The list includes: a Ford F150 pick-up truck, a Dodge Ram pick-up truck, a Dodge Charger, a Ski-Doo GSX snowmobile, 2 Polaris snowmobiles, a Honda TRX All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV), a Triton snowmobile trailer, a Stihl concrete saw, a Rolair air compressor, nine rifles, two shotguns, a crossbow with night vision scope, two antique pistols, two pellet rifles and a large quantity of ammunition.

A 53-year-old and a 48-year-old resident of Arran-Elderslie face numerous charges. Both remain in custody pending a hearing.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact OPP or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
