Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Rick Byer shared word of a meeting he had with members of the Peninsula Adventure Sports Association in South Bruce Peninsula on Sunday.
The organization held their AGM that night and recognized many volunteers for their support over the last 12 years.
MPP Byers was on hand to congratulate the group on the work done since receiving a $32,000 Community Building Fund Grant from the Province and the Trillium Foundation in 2021.
The funds were used to support & adapt 3 fundraising events including the Bruce Peninsula Multisport Race, Tobermory Trial Race Weekend and a new Virtual orienteering event.
