A makeup date has been announced for the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks game that was cancelled due to snow squalls earlier this month.
The team’s Nov. 20 game vs the Minto 81s will now be made up on Jan. 8, 2023 in Port Elgin. Puck drop is at 6:30 p.m.
Minto and Saugeen Shores have played the fewest games of any teams in the WOAA Senior Hockey league, with just seven outings each.
The Winterhawks are 4-3 on the season after beating the Shallow Lake Crushers 4-0 last night.
