Canada fell to Australia 5-2 at the WBSC Men’s Softball World Cup held in New Zealand.
The Canadians entered in the cup ranked third and boasted some local representation with Brussels pitcher Ty Sebastian, who managed a no-hitter against South Africa.
Sebastian’s at bat against Australia brought in one of Canada’s runs.
Mitchell’s Tyler Pauli was also part of the Canada squad who head home with a silver medal.
