Project sees High-Speed Internet available to 2,570 Rural Homes, Farms & Businesses in Bruce & Grey

Both the provincial and federal levels of government combined to invest around $3.4 million dollars in these projects.

Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Rick Byers announced the competition of construction on projects aimed at helping to increase access to high-speed internet service.

In partnership with SWIFT more than 1,070 families, farms and businesses in the Grey County communities of Holstein, Varney, Orchardville, Maple Lane, Yovil, Dromore, Tartan, Thistle and Bognor now have access.

Both the provincial and federal levels of government combined to invest more than $2.7 million dollars in these projects.

Additionally, almost 1,500 families, farms and businesses of Sauble Beach and Sauble Beach North now have access in Bruce County.

This was after a combined investment of $770,00 from the two levels of government.
