Huron Perth Public Health is urging residents to keep protecting themselves from respiratory illness as we head into the holidays.
They say the challenging respiratory illness season in Huron Perth continues.
It says it has also received confirmation of a death in the region related to influenza. They were an adult living in the community.
HPPH says influenza is a serious illness that can lead to severe outcomes to the very young, the very old and those who are immunocompromised.
Together with RSV this is putting pressure on the pediatric acute care system.
