The Wingham and District Hospital emergency department will be temporarily closing on Christmas night due to staffing shortages.
The ED will close at 5 p.m. on the Dec 25 and reopen at 7 a.m. on Boxing Day morning.
In a release, the Listowel Wingham Hospital Alliance acknowledged that the holidays normally result in staffing issues and this year is particularly difficult.
The emergency departments in Chesley and Walkerton also had to temporarily close this weekend for the same issues.
