Hockey legend Paul Henderson made an appearance at the Kincardine Legion this morning as part of LeaderImpact, a movement he founded.

The breakfast event was attended by people both in-person and also offered up virtually through zoom.

In the just over half hour chat Paul discussed various things such as memories and ties to the community, religion, the founding of LeaderImpact and of course his participation in the Summit Series and the goal of the century.

Here he describes the Canadian fans after their opening loss in the series.

“I don’t think we would have ever won without those fans because they went crazy. When we lost that first game in Moscow we had to listen to that Russian national anthem. They were down at the far end when we went off and those 3000 Canadians stood up and gave us a standing ovation.”
