The Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary announced its first fundraiser of the year with its 3rd Annual Bakeless Bake Sale.
The fundraiser in support of providing much needed equipment to the Kincardine Hospital.
Auxiliary Members have started the ball rolling by donating amounts in lieu of money they would have spent baking for the Christmas Bake Sale.
They are asking community members to do the same and donate in-support of the Bakeless Bake Sale.
There is even a poem written by Press Reporter Liz Nurton on the topic:
Well the month of February is here again
and the Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary is getting in gear
So to start off our fund raising plans
We decided to hold our Bakeless Bake Sale for another year.
It would be a surprise if we counted the cost
of the supplies for making pies and cakes
And baking for bake sales is so much work
Without even considering the time it takes.
Now we feel sure that you will understand
That by supporting our Bakeless Bake Sale once more
All the money that our events make go into a fund
To buy new hospital equipment for the best patient care.
In an envelope, please put the price
Of a pie or a cake or something nice
Without fuss or bother you’ve done your part.
We feel sure you’ll give with a willing heart.
