Cody Hayes (KFD), Fire Chief Brad Lemaich (KFD), South Bruce Inspector Krista Miller (OPP), and Constable Jake Karley (OPP) take the opening faceoff.

The South Bruce OPP emerged victorious in this weekend’s Guns and Hoses charity game in Tiverton, topping Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services 5-4.

The real winners were the Huron Shores Hospice and the Kincardine Food Bank, who both benefit from a sizable and generous crowd that came out to Sunday’s game to show their support.

Organizers say they collected over $800 in donations for the hospice. They also brought in $150 in cash and over 20 totes full of non-perishables for the food bank.
