The Bruce County Transportation & Environmental Services Department is set to place weight & load restrictions on several County roads as of Friday, February 17th at 6pm until further notice.

They say with warmer conditions in recent weeks, the 5 tonne per single axle limit will protect the integrity of their road infrastructure.

During spring thaw, the roads are susceptible to damage and the reduction helps preserve the life span of the roads.
