Huron County Paramedics share statistics on Bullying on Pink Shirt Day

47% of Canadian parents have at least one child that has been a victim of bullying, around 1/3 who have experienced bullying as a child, one/third of teenagers that have been bullied recently and 40% of Canadians who are bullied in their workplace every week.

The Huron County Paramedics shared some statistics on Pink Shirt Day today.

They say they are alarming and are estimated low.

They say 47% of Canadian parents have at least one child that has been a victim of bullying, around 1/3 of the population has experienced bullying as a child, one/third of teenagers have been bullied recently and 40% or nearly half of Canadians are bullied in their workplace every week.

They say to try and do something kind every day and together we can end bullying.
