Kincardine holds well-attended Job & Career Expo at the Davidson Centre

The Municipality of Kincardine, The Kincardien Chamber and VPI Working solutions held a Career Expo that drew hundreds of jobseekers at the Davidson Centre Thurday.

The event offered the opportunity for people looking for their first jobs, or those seeking prfessional, full-time employment.

The 36 companies taking part represented a cross-section of industries in the community, including hospitality, manufacturing and nuclear sector and healthcare.

Companies from as far away as Tobermory and Owen Sound took part, with an eye on recruiting takent to foll both seasonal and permanent positions.

Those unable to attend are still able to visit jobsinbruce.ca for employment opportunities in the Region.
