The Town of Saugeen Shores shared congratulations to Joanne Robbins and the entire Pumpkinfest Committee for the 3 awards it received for this year’s event.
It won the Innovation Award in Partnership with Home Hardware, a Top 100 Festival & Event in Ontario and was inducted into the 2023 Festival & Events in Ontario Hall of Fame.
They say its fitting that Festival & Events Ontario has recognized Joanne for all her hard work over the several decades.
Her efforts to build and grow the Town’s marquee event is nothing short of outstanding.
They say the event manages to do may things at once.
It has grown from what was essentially an agricultural event and raised its profile to attract people from around the world.
