The Municipality of Kincardine is set to host its come and go open house tonight on the Waterfront Master Plan.
Jayne Jagelewski, Director of Communication Services says the session tonight at the Davidson Centre from 6 to 7:30 pm is meant to offer updates to the public as well as another chance to offer feedback.
“Come out and hear what we’ve said to date, what you’ve said to date, gathered to date. The overall report will be presented next month to Council in April.
The Municipality saw 526 participants to a Survey on the Waterfront and saw safety as the number 1 item with 390 participants mentioning it and sometimes unsafe swimming conditions with rip currents, lack of public education and signage and boardwalk conditions. Number 2 was waterfront amenities.
