The Kincardine & District Lions Club through Lions Tom Durrant & Paul Thompson visited with Shirley Bieman of the Kincardine Good Food Box program recently to drop off a $500 donation.
The funds will provide monthly boxes of fresh fruit and vegetables for two patrons of the Good Food Box for around 1 year.
To join the program you can visit the UBC Local 2222 building on Queen Street in Kincardine the third Thursday of the month. They are open 9 to 4:30.
The price of the Good Food Box is set to increase $2 to $22 per box as of April 1st.
