Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb shared word of Bill C-234, an act to amend the greenhouse gas pollution pricing act was adopted at its third reading in the house of commons.
The bill, which was introduced by Lobb, adds exclusions for carbon pricing for agricultural buildings used for raising or housing livestock, growing cops, housing industrial machinery and more.
It covers gasoline, light fuel, natural gas, and propane.
MP Lobb says he is grateful for his colleagues who voted in favour of the important piece of legislation that will support Canadian farmers who put food on our tables.
