The Town of Goderich held its 91st Annual Top Hat Ceremony on Friday.
The tradition of recognizing the first ship of the season to enter the Goderich port goes back to 1932.
The Town welcomed Captain John Lavery and Captain in Training Blake Brunelleschi of the Algoma Innovator to Goderich.
They were given the honour of wearing a ceremonial top hat that has been bestowed each year and took time to sign their names to memorialise the honour.
